Lochlea Ploughing Edition 70cl

Lochlea Ploughing Edition is the fourth and final release in Lochlea Distillery's "First Crop" series. Located in the Lowlands of Scotland, Lochlea Distillery has been gaining attention for its high-quality single malt Scotch whisky, and the Ploughing Edition is no exception. This limited edition malt pays homage to the farming calendar, specifically the time of year when the fields are ploughed, preparing them for the next crop. The series itself is an exploration of the seasons and the agricultural roots of the distillery, with each edition reflecting a different stage in the farming process.
Expect a nose of baked fruit with a touch of peat, as well as sweet flavours of old fashioned boiled sweets, stewed apple and brazil nuts. A finish of lingering fruit and nuttiness, all intertwined in a warmth of Islay peat smoke.
